FDA-approved (k093910) IMPROVACUTER™ Shatterproof PET tubes offer a safe method of blood collection and reduce the potential for tube breakage and specimen spillage, thereby reducing the potential for exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

IMPROVACUTER™ GEL AND CLOT ACTIVATOR TUBES
IMPROVACUTER™ Gel and Clot Activator Tubes offers serum for determinations in chemistry and serology. The tube contains a gel that forms a stable barrier between the serum and the cellular components of the whole blood after centrifugation. They are coated with silicone and micronized silica particles to accelerate clotting. A silicone coating reduces adherence of red cells to tube walls.

The Safety closure has a unique rubber stopper that seals IMPROVACUTER™ blood collection tubes. It is recessed within and covered by a plastic shield to help protect laboratory personnel from contact with blood on the stopper or around the outer rim of the tube. The closure also helps prevent blood from splattering when the tube is opened.

Our blood gas capillaries are made of fracture-proof, chemically neutral plastics, and, therefore avoid risks of injuries or infections during blood collection. The capillaries are coated with 50 I.U. balanced lithium heparin and can be sealed with closing caps. Special sizes can be manufactured according to your requirements!

The UltraFlo™-T Blood Transfer Device (Cat. No. 810) is a sterile, pre-assembled and easy-to-use device designed with safety in mind. It is used for needleless specimen transfer from a syringe to an evacuated tube or blood culture bottle and has a pink color-coded connection to provide easy differentiation from other holder-based products.

The UltraFlo™-A Access Device (Cat. No. 902) is a sterile, pre-assembled blood collection tube holder with integrated multi-sample luer adapter.
